WELCOME TO THE CHILDREN’S GARDEN

The Garden exists to engage the community and to educate the senses, the mind and the imagination while having fun in nature. There are organic food-growing beds, a rain-harvesting tool/play-shed, a bursting-with-colour fence painted by Lady Evelyn Alternative School students, beautiful pathways, a seating circle for storytime and activities, composting, a sandbox and a variety of shrubs and trees. During the spring, summer and fall there are regular playgroups, art and organic gardening workshops, science activities, harvest feasts and more.
